Meet Angelina – One of our IFIL Farmers
Angelina Isemusoro runs a thriving coffee farm in Uganda, but her success didn't come that easily.
"I didn’t know how to use sustainable farming methods like pruning or digging trenches," she admits. Recent training from We Effect, however, has significantly boosted both her productivity and that of her fellow cooperative members.
For Angelina, the most impactful part of the training has been the focus on gender equality:
"Before, all the land and resources belonged to my husband. Now, we work together and share control," she explains.
This shift has not only empowered her but inspired other women in the community. Joint ownership has also motivated them to invest more in their business and reduce financial stress.
