How to mobilise change (28-29/11)

Tid:
Plats: Kulturhuset , Stockholm

Join us at Kulturhuset in Stockholm ahead of the Right Livelihood award Presentation on November 30, for two days of in-depth conversations with the 2022 Right Livelihood Laureates.

During four 45-minute interviews led by journalist Dara Lind, we will take a deep dive into the Laureates' stories and hear how they adapted new, human-centric ways of living and thinking to address their communities' most pressing issues. From them, we will learn how to take the first steps to create social change in our own communities.

Hailing from Uganda, Venezuela, Somalia and Ukraine, this year’s change-makers show that systems change is not only possible but outright necessary in the face of failing governance and the breakdown of international order. With crises stemming from authoritarian governance, international aggression, profit-seeking economic systems and political inertia to take action against a planetary climate breakdown, these change-makers have imagined a better world and work tirelessly to make it a reality.

We believe that hope is born when people come together to create a better future. We hope that by learning from the Laureates, more of us are inspired and encouraged to take action!

The conversations will be in English, apart from the conversation with Cecosesola which will be held in Spanish. Interpretation to English will be available. The event will take place on the second floor, at Foajé 3.

The event takes place 28th and 29th of November 12:00-15:00.
